Texas Homeschool Alliance (THA) operates very differently from automated transcript generators. While tools like FastTranscripts allow parents to create their own documents, THA functions as a professional registrar’s office: reviewing records, formatting transcripts to official standards, and issuing certified, sealed copies. Our process mirrors what private schools and colleges use to produce their academic records.
Feature | Fast Transcripts | Texas Homeschool Alliance |
Who prepares the transcript? | Parent enters data and builds transcript online | Registrar reviews and prepares official transcript |
Verification & Oversight | Self certified by parent | Certified and sealed by the Office of the Registrar |
Delivery Method | Downloadable PDF | Printed, embossed, and mailed directly from Registrar |
Presentation & Format | Generic layout and minimal styling | Custom THA design with embossed seal and registrar signature |
Record Retention | No long term storage | Permanent record on file for lifetime verification |
Cost Structure | Annual subscription | One time package purchase |
Perceived Authority | Parent generated document | Registrar issued academic record |
In short, Fast Transcripts helps families make a document but Texas Homeschool Alliance helps families make it official. Every THA transcript is individually reviewed, sealed, and mailed directly from the Office of the Registrar to ensure it carries the same weight and credibility expected from a private school registrar’s office.
Yes. Homeschool diplomas are widely accepted across the United States when accompanied by proper documentation such as transcripts and course records. Our professionally prepared diplomas and transcripts provide the format and information that colleges, employers, and the military expect.
Our services are available to parents, guardians, or adult learners who completed a homeschool or self-directed education program in compliance with their state’s homeschool laws. We do not prepare documents for public school or GED programs.
Most orders are completed and shipped within 1–2 business days once all required academic information and payment are received. We offer a variety of shipping options including USPS Ground Advantage (formerly First Class Mail), USPS Priority Mail, and USPS Express Mail. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information when your order has shipped.
If you ever need additional transcript copies, you may request them through our Transcript Request page. If you need to have your diploma reissued because it was lost or damaged, you can request a copy though our Request a Replacement Diploma page. To protect student privacy and maintain FERPA-style standards, diplomas and transcripts are released only to the student or parent/guardian of record.
If you notice an error after submitting your form, please contact us immediately. Minor corrections may be made before production begins. Once documents are printed, a reissue fee will apply for corrected replacements.
