VERIFICATION OF HOMESCHOOL RECORDS
OVERVIEW
Texas Homeschool Alliance maintains academic records for the homeschool diplomas and transcripts it issues. When verification is requested by an employer, college, or other third party, we are able to confirm the authenticity of those records.
HOW VERIFICATION WORKS
Verification typically occurs when a third party requests confirmation of a student’s educational documentation. This may include:
-
Confirmation that a transcript was issued
-
Verification of graduation status
-
Validation of coursework and grade history (if applicable)
Requests are reviewed and responded to based on the information available in the student’s record.
WHO REQUESTS VERIFICATION
Verification requests may come from:
Employers conducting background checks
Colleges and universities
Military or government agencies
Licensing or certification organizations
These requests are a standard part of confirming educational history.
RECORDS MAINTENANCE
Texas Homeschool Alliance maintains internal records associated with each transcript and diploma issued. These records allow us to confirm the existence and accuracy of documentation when a legitimate verification request is received.
WHY VERIFICATION MATTERS
A diploma alone is often not sufficient for formal verification. In many cases, transcripts and supporting records are used to confirm educational history. Maintaining records through a recognized record holder helps ensure that documentation can be supported when verification is required.
REQUESTING OFFICIAL HOMESCHOOL RECORDS
If you require homeschool documentation that can be supported through record maintenance and verification, you can request official records through Texas Homeschool Alliance.
VERIFICATION REQUESTS
